Carpenter Position

 

Job Description:
      Danken is a leading remodeling company specializing in residential kitchen & bath projects in Bucks and Montgomery counties. We are for an individual with at least 5 years of actual on the job experience. You would be assisting one of our (5) teams of installers. If you are an eager, self-motivated, responsible individual that is looking to grow in the field of remodeling, we’d love to hear from you!

 

Skills we are looking for, but are not limited to:

 

  • Demolition, Framing, Basic
  • Electric
  • Drywall installation and finishing
  • Cabinetry installation and molding work
  • Tile installation (bath walls, flooring, backsplash)
  • Flooring installation (LVT, hardwood, tile)
  • Window and door installation and trim work
  • Basic roofing and siding

 

Requirements:

 

  • 5 years of actual on the job full time carpentry/remodeling experience
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools
  • Accuracy with measuring
  • Self-motivated and reliable
  • Good people skillsProblem solving skills
  • Team player
  • Clean Background Check and Driving Record
  • MUST live within 25 minute commute of Souderton, PA

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Work with team members to complete contracted projects
  • Use hand and power tools to perform carpentry tasks, including framing and trim work.
  • Read and interpret drawings to ensure accurate construction and remodeling.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
  • Implement safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.

Physical Demands:

    Below is a list of physical demands that must be met in an average day of work on the jobsite by all Danken employees (carpenters) to successfully perform the essential functions of their job. Each job site is unique, but these requirements are consistent with what will can be required daily.

 

  • Must be able to lift and carry 50 – 80 lbs.
  • Prolonged periods of walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing laddersProlonged use of stairs
